Introduction of Worm Screw Conveyor

Worm screw conveyor, also called worm screw feeder, is suitable for conveying powdery or granular materials. It consists of a U-shaped groove equipped with at least one outlet. Each groove end has an end plate. The spiral thread is welded on the central pipe. Both end bearing assemblies have shaft seals, a certain number of intermediate hanger bearings (depending on the overall length of the screw conveyor) and bolted slot cover sections.

When it is working, the motor drives the rotating spiral blade to transport the material, so that the force of the material not rotating together with the worm screw conveyor blade is the weight of the material itself and the friction resistance of the screw conveyor cabinet to the material. Under the drag of the screw shaft, the material moves in the direction of the discharge port, and then transported to the bunker.

Horizontal type: horizontal arrangement, suitable for conveying within 40 meters, multi-point feeding, multi-point unloading.

Inclined type: the inclined angle is 2°-60°, and the conveying length does not exceed 20 meters.

Vertical type: suitable for vertically conveying materials, conveying powdery or granular materials from low to high, the vertical lifting height does not exceed 8 meters, and the feeding volume does not exceed 50 tons.

Stainless steel material: 304/316L stainless steel, hygienic, rust-free, acid and alkali resistant, suitable for transportation of food, medicine or corrosive chemical materials with high hygiene requirements.

Carbon steel material: lower price, suitable for material conveying without special requirements.

Shafted design: used for conveying loose, dry, and fluid bulk materials.

Shaftless design: It is used for conveying viscous, wet, and poor fluid mass and belt materials.

Single Worm: conventional Worm form, used for material conveying

Double Worm: It is 1.5-2 times the conveying capacity of a single Worm, and has the functions of stirring and breaking at the same time.

The feeding amount can be adjusted - the feeding is uniform, the feeding speed can be controlled by installing a frequency conversion motor, and the material is not easy to be blocked.

EASY REMOVAL - Simplifies cleaning of individual parts, and you can also adjust the height of the entire dispenser to change the discharge direction as needed.

Hygienic and pollution-free - The silo and conveying pipe are made of stainless steel (materials can be requested by customers) to ensure that the raw materials are completely pollution-free during the conveying process.

Totally enclosed structure - The conveying pipeline adopts a closed design, which can effectively prevent dust and effectively isolate materials with high hygiene requirements or strong odor.

Worm screw conveyor is mainly composed of driving device, machine head assembly, screw shaft, groove lining plate, feeding port, discharging port, cover plate (when necessary), base and so on.

Driving device: adopt helical gear reducer. When it is horizontal, the reducer is opposite to the outlet, and when it is inclined, the reducer is at the outlet.

Slot: U-shaped, with a rain cover on the upper part. Material is stainless steel or carbon steel.

Non-axial helix: stainless steel or 16Mn.

Tank Liner: Nylon or polyethylene board, nylon material.

Inlet and outlet: There are two kinds of square and round. Generally, the form of water inlet and outlet is determined by the user, mainly square.
