Alumina powder bucket elevator uses hoppers fixed to a belt or chain to continuously and stably lift easily dispersed alumina powder from a lower to a higher position. Different models have different lifting capacities, commonly ranging from 5-200 t/h. The lifting height from low to high is 5-40 m. During the lifting process, the machine speed can be adjusted to approximately 0.8-1.5 m/s, which reduces excessive speed and thus minimizes alumina powder dispersion. The volume of a single hopper ranges from 1-15 L, and shallow and deep hoppers can be customized to meet the required alumina powder lifting volume.

Alumina Powder Bucket Elevator Structure
The Alumina powder bucket elevator consists of a head, barrel, base, hoppers, traction components, drive unit, and tensioning device. During operation, powder is fed into the inlet at the bottom of the base. An anti-bridging structure within the base prevents powder agglomeration and blockage, allowing the powder to fall smoothly into the shallow hopper that moves with the traction component. The traction component, driven by a top-mounted drive unit, carries the bucket vertically upwards along the sealed barrel. During this process, anti-stick linings on the barrel prevent powder from adhering to the walls. When the bucket reaches the head position, centrifugal force throws the alumina powder out, guiding it through the head guide plate to the discharge port for unloading. The empty bucket then falls back down along the other side of the barrel, repeating the cycle to achieve continuous vertical lifting of the powder.

Alumina Powder Bucket Elevator Features
Alumina powder has a relatively fine particle size, making it prone to dust generation. The alumina powder bucket elevator features a sealed cavity structure, preventing both powder spillage and impurities from contaminating the powder during lifting. The buckets of the bucket elevator can be designed according to the particle size of the alumina powder. During operation, the bucket elevator can dig and carry materials without sticking to the walls or clogging the buckets. The alumina powder bucket elevator can vertically lift powder from ground-level silos to higher-level silos, reactors, and other equipment, meeting the needs of high-level powder conveying in production.

Alumina Powder Bucket Elevator Selection
The selection of an Alumina powder bucket elevator model should be based on production capacity and the characteristics of the alumina powder, choosing the appropriate model size and bucket type.
If the required hourly lifting capacity is less than 50 tons and workshop space is limited, a TD type belt-driven bucket elevator can be selected. It is lightweight, energy-efficient, and has a small bucket spacing, suitable for low-capacity continuous conveying. If the target hourly lifting capacity of alumina powder is 50-200 tons, a TH type ring chain elevator can be selected. This type has high chain strength, large bucket volume, and high conveying efficiency. If a vertical lifting height > 30m is required, and wear and impact resistance are important, an NE type plate chain elevator can be chosen. When the alumina powder is dry and fine, a deep bucket with a sealed casing can be used to prevent dust escape. If the powder has a high moisture content or slight agglomeration, a shallow bucket should be selected, and an anti-stick scraper should be added to prevent material accumulation in the bucket.

Alumina Powder Bucket Elevator Solution
Alumina powder packaging workshop previously relied on manual handling with outdated lifting equipment. This resulted in dust everywhere and a poor working environment. Manual feeding was inefficient, with a throughput of less than 5 tons per hour, high labor intensity for workers, and frequent material leaks. Furthermore, the poor sealing of the equipment increased the risk of dust explosions. After introducing a fully enclosed, explosion-proof Alumina powder bucket elevator, the workshop environment improved. The automated continuous conveying system increased the throughput to over 15 tons per hour, reduced labor costs, minimized material loss due to the sealed conveying system, eliminated safety hazards during lifting, and significantly reduced daily maintenance.

The Alumina powder bucket elevator lifts alumina powder to the next stage of processing, such as batching, mixing, packaging, and sintering. It stabilizes the powder and prevents it from scattering. The stainless steel construction minimizes powder spillage, and it can be equipped with explosion-proof motors and anti-caking vibration devices. It can be used in metallurgy, refractory materials, ceramics, chemical, and electronics industries.
