Modular Conveyor Belts: Constructed from high-strength engineering plastic modules, with each module typically 100-300 mm wide, offering a conveying capacity of up to 50 tons per hour. Easy to clean, maintain, and replace in sections, suitable for food processing, bottled beverages, and packaging lines.

Baffle Conveyor Belts: Features transverse baffles 30-200 mm high on the belt surface, which can be combined with skirts to effectively prevent material slippage during inclined conveying. Made of wear-resistant rubber, they offer a conveying capacity of up to 800 tons per hour, suitable for steep incline conveying applications such as mining and agricultural grain processing.

Flat Conveyor Belts: The most common type, with a flat surface, made of cotton canvas or nylon, with a width of 500-1400 mm, offering a conveying capacity of up to 600 tons per hour. Suitable for horizontal or slightly inclined conveying of regular items such as boxes and bags, and is a mainstay in assembly lines and warehousing logistics.

Inclined conveyor belts: Designed specifically for lifting and lowering materials between different floors or heights, they are made of anti-slip rubber, with an inclination angle of up to 30° and a conveying capacity of up to 200 tons per hour. Their key features are their anti-slip performance and sufficient friction; they are commonly used in airport baggage handling and warehouse loading/unloading areas.

tubular conveying system: Made of special rubber material with a tube diameter of 150-400 mm, and a conveying capacity of up to 1500 tons per hour. The conveyor belt forms a tubular wrap around the material at the tail, preventing dust and material spillage, and allows for three-dimensional bending conveying. They are used for long-distance transportation of powdery materials such as cement and fly ash.

Specific Application Cases of Conveyor Belts for Industrial Applications

Conveyor belts for industrial applications have numerous applications across various industrial sectors. Here are some typical scenarios:

Mining and Quarrying: Heavy-duty steel cord conveyor belts are used to transport large quantities of ore and coal. Their superior load-bearing capacity and abrasion resistance can withstand extreme impacts and wear.

Food Processing Industry: Hygiene-compliant PU or modular plastic conveyor belts are used in processes such as washing, cooking, packaging, and freezing. The materials are non-toxic, easy to clean, and can withstand certain water, oil, and temperature variations.

Express Logistics Sorting Centers: Flat and roller conveyor belts form a vast sorting network. Barcode scanning automatically diverts packages to designated areas, which is crucial for achieving rapid logistics.

Automobile Manufacturing Assembly Lines: Precision and stable conveyor belts transport car chassis sequentially to various workstations. Workers complete assembly within a fixed rhythm, enabling large-scale assembly line production.

Airport Baggage Handling Systems: A complex system integrating flat, inclined, and curved conveyor belts ensures that passenger baggage is safely and timely transported from check-in counters to the correct flights.

Conveyor Belts for Industrial Applications Selection Guide

Choosing the right conveyor belts for industrial applications requires close consideration of the specific application scenario. For highly abrasive materials, heavy-duty, highly wear-resistant rubber belts should be selected. For powdery or easily dusty materials, tubular conveyor belts or enclosed conveyor systems are the best choice. For food and pharmaceutical materials, non-toxic, easy-to-clean materials that meet hygiene certifications must be selected. For oily or corrosive chemicals, oil- and corrosion-resistant special rubber belts are required. For large-angle lifting, conveyor belts with baffles and skirts can be selected. For light loads, ordinary polyester fabric reinforcement materials can be used, while for heavy loads, steel cord core or high-strength fiber reinforcement materials can be selected.

Conveyor belts for industrial applications are used for bulk material transportation, product handling, and special environmental operations. They can transport heavy objects, small parts, pallets, and various bulk materials, and can also adapt to high-strength and wear-resistant working conditions.
