Main design of twin screw conveyor:
1. Drive device
The drive device is suitable for outdoor use. The motor reduction device adopts the structure of a shaft-mounted reducer. The reduction transmission device is a combination of helical gear or helical gear and worm gear transmission. The gear design is in accordance with ISO, DIN or equivalent standards, and the service factor ≥ 1.2. The output shaft of the reducer will be sealed to avoid oil leakage. The reducer is equipped with an automatic oil level adjustment device, so that the gear transmission can achieve good lubrication under any temperature change conditions. The deceleration device adopts products with low noise, high efficiency and good sealing.
The drive motor is a flange-mounted asynchronous induction motor, suitable for a power supply of 440V, 3-phase, 60Hz, and the speed of the motor is not greater than 1500r/min.
2. Spiral
The helical sheet has sufficient strength and rigidity.
3. Support frame and conveying trough
The conveyor support frame is made of stainless steel profiles and fixed on the concrete civil foundation with stainless steel expansion bolts.
The thickness of the conveyor groove is 3.0mm, and it is made of U-shaped section. Except for the opening of the feed port, the rest of the conveyor groove is closed with a flat cover along the spiral groove. The conveying groove and cover plate are all made of stainless steel.
4. Bushing
The wear-resistant lining plate or wear-resistant lining strip in the conveyor groove can be easily replaced. It is made of nylon, and its service life should be guaranteed for more than 3 years.
Working principle
The principle of the double-shaft screw conveyor is to install a solid screw in two seamless steel pipes, one of which is left-handed and the other is right-handed. When working, the two screws rotate through a pair of gears at the shaft extension position, and the screw drives the material to move axially, so as to achieve the purpose of conveying.
Summary: Compared with other conveying equipment, the double screw conveyor has the advantages of small cross-sectional size, good sealing performance, stable and reliable operation, multi-point loading and unloading, safe operation, and simple maintenance.
