100mm flexible screw conveyor refers to a conveyor with an inner tube diameter of 100mm. It consists of a screw, flexible tubing, and a drive unit, and can convey powdery, granular, wet, or small lump materials. Its conveying distance is between 10 and 30 meters, and can be configured according to specific scenarios such as factories, workshops, and warehouses.

The matching motor power ranges from 0.75kW to 3kW. Common materials for the screw include carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-strength alloy steel. Carbon steel is suitable for conveying dry materials, stainless steel is suitable for conveying corrosion-resistant and moist materials, while high-strength alloy steel is suitable for conveying harder granular materials. The machine can convey horizontally, at an incline, and vertically.
Types of 100mm Flexible Screw Conveyors
100mm flexible screw conveyors are classified into three types based on structure and usage requirements: flexible hose type, stainless steel type, and handheld type. The flexible hose type emphasizes flexibility and portability, the stainless steel type offers corrosion resistance and hygiene, and the handheld type focuses on operational flexibility and localized conveying capacity.
The 100mm flexible screw conveyor with a flexible hose uses a high-strength rubber or polyurethane hose as its outer shell. Its conveying capacity ranges from 1 to 5 tons per hour, with a conveying length of 10 to 20 meters and a permissible bending radius of approximately 0.5 to 1 meter. Flexible hose conveyors are lightweight, easy to move and install, can bypass obstacles, and are suitable for space-constrained environments such as warehouse corners. The conveying direction can also be adjusted at any time.

The 100mm stainless steel screw conveyor is characterized by its wear resistance and high-temperature resistance. Both the screw and the pipe are made of stainless steel, preventing material contamination and facilitating cleaning. Its conveying capacity is 2 to 8 tons per hour, with a conveying length of 15 to 30 meters, and an adjustable speed typically ranging from 20 to 60 rpm. This machine is more suitable for straight or slightly curved conveying routes.

The handheld 100mm flexible screw conveyor is generally equipped with a lightweight motor and a grippable pipe, suitable for point-to-point feeding or loading of small quantities of material. With a conveying capacity of approximately 0.5–2 tons/hour, this type of machine is flexible in operation, allowing for direct manual control of the conveying direction to complete material feeding or loading operations at designated points. It is suitable for warehouses, construction sites, or small production lines.

100mm Flexible Screw Conveyor Motor Selection
The motor is the core drive component of the 100mm flexible screw conveyor, mainly divided into two types: electric motor and diesel motor. The choice of motor should be determined based on the operating environment, the nature of the conveyed material, and the distance.
Electric motors use electricity as their energy source, typically with a power range between 0.75kW and 3kW. They are used in indoor or fixed locations with a stable power supply. They can be started simply by pressing the power button, making them suitable for applications requiring frequent starts, stops, or speed adjustments. They can also be used with a frequency converter to adjust the conveying speed to meet different material conveying requirements.
Diesel motors are suitable for outdoor or environments without power. Diesel engines can have a power output of over 5kW, providing strong power and capable of handling long-distance conveying of heavier materials. Diesel motors are durable and fuel-rich, enabling continuous operation under harsh conditions, such as transporting heavy materials like gravel and sand at construction sites, farmland, or remote mining areas.

A 100mm flexible screw conveyor can transport materials such as cement, stone powder, grain, plastic granules, crushed stone, and feed lumps. If used for conveying gravel, ensure the gravel particle size is less than 8-10 mm to prevent pipe blockage or excessive screw wear. The equipment can transport both dry and wet materials. For materials with high moisture content or those prone to caking, the screw gap and speed need appropriate adjustment to ensure smooth transport.
