As a fresh and fragile food, crayfish has high requirements for the conveying method during processing to avoid damage, pollution or inefficiency. Traditional conveying methods may cause crayfish to accumulate, squeeze each other and cause damage, or bring health hazards during transportation. In contrast, Crayfish belt conveyor uses a food-grade conveyor belt to make the crayfish move flat and evenly on the processing line at a constant or adjustable speed. It can significantly reduce the damage rate of crayfish during transportation and reduce the stress response of live crayfish.
During the processing of crayfish, the belt conveyor is the key equipment to realize the automatic transmission of materials. We also need to properly understand the characteristics of the materials. Crayfish is a kind of aquatic products, and its main characteristics are:
Irregular shape, hard shell and spikes, easy to cause wear or scratches on the conveyor belt;
High water content: water and grease are often accompanied during the processing, and the conveying environment is humid;
Small size and light weight (single): adult individuals are generally 5~12 cm long, weigh 30~80 grams, and can reach more than 150 grams. However, the overall output is large and needs to be conveyed continuously.
As a live or cooked aquatic product, crayfish has a slippery and easily damaged surface, which has high requirements for the operation stability, hygienic performance and structural design of the conveying equipment. When using a belt conveyor, it is necessary to pay attention to the operation safety and material protection of the crayfish belt conveyor. During the conveying process, the conveying speed should be controlled to be moderate to avoid stacking and pushing on the belt, especially at the transfer point and the drop port, to prevent the shrimp body from being squeezed and damaged. Or on this basis, a guide plate is set to guide the material to be evenly distributed on the belt to prevent damage caused by concentrated falling points. Avoid free fall due to height difference: a buffer plate or gentle slope should be set when connecting the upper and lower workstations to reduce the height of the material falling.
The crayfish belt conveyor production line is usually a series of interconnected belt conveying equipment used to automatically and continuously convey crayfish from one processing link to the next. It is designed to reduce manual handling, improve production efficiency, and ensure the cleanliness and integrity of crayfish throughout the process.
Convey crayfish from transport boxes or temporary holding ponds to cleaning equipment. Manually or mechanically sort crayfish to remove impurities and dead shrimps, and grade them according to size. According to product requirements, head removal, shrimp thread removal, shelling and other operations are performed. At this stage, crayfish may be conveyed to cooking equipment or seasoning mixing equipment. The processed crayfish are conveyed to the cooling link and finally to the packaging equipment.
